Compliance & Development Tech - Transportation

Sentry's Compliance & Development Tech position is an entry level role responsible for the timely research and development of policy documents through the use of form maintenance systems with a focus on maintaining table information to ensure correct pricing and rates. 

What You'll Do

As the Compliance and Development Technician you will work with Sentry systems to create, test and maintain forms to generate endorsements, declaration pages, and notices in adherence with state filings.  In addition, you will:
•    Maintain knowledge of products, systems and processing of forms for state availability 
•    Utilize rate maintenance systems to develop policy premium for customers
•    Ensure adherence with state filings by keeping accurate records 
•    Proofread and verify information to assure accurate verbiage
•    Enter rates and codes in maintenance system for rating and statistical data collections 
•    Communicate with state insurance departments and bureaus as needed 
•    Perform other job-related duties as assigned 

What it Takes

•    Associate Degree or equivalent work experience, with 1-2 years of related work experience helpful
•    Business products rating experience and an understanding of business products systems and processing desired
•    Ability to perform basic research and analysis to solve discrepancies is required
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills
•    Ability to work independently and perform duties with a high level of accuracy
•    Time management and ability to work within specific time limitations is critical
