Our Communications Specialists are responsible for the operational implementation of corporate communications.
What You'll Do
- Work collaboratively with and provide communications coaching for strategic leadership team members.
- Direct communications support for assigned senior leadership, provides direct support to senior leaders on strategic issues.
- Respond to unexpected communication needs with calm and professionalism that produces results.
- Define work plans to organize the communications, campaigns, projects or events into tasks; estimating time, budget and resources needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by providing advisement, coaching and feedback to fellow team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with key leaders, business partners, internal departments, etc.
What it Takes
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer driven solutions, support or service.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and advising senior leaders, including on external/news media communications.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing internal communication plans and strategies, identifying issues and risks that may impact strategies.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication strategies, including those with external communications components.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of communication tools, including intranet, social media, video, etc.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of change management principles and their application to communications to move audiences from current state to future state.
- Strong organizational skills with consistent delivery on commitments.
