Prem Audit Technician II - Commercial Lines

This role will support the premium audit function focused on the completion of final audits for commercial lines of business for customers located across the United States.

Responsible for the timely review of financial and business records to determine final earned premium.

What You’ll Do

•Evaluates moderately complex voluntary audits for commercial lines to determine accurate classification and policy provisions to calculate final earned premium. Meets or exceeds production target while maintaining quality standards
•Communicate with insureds and agents to discuss records and operations and/or to clarify and validate existing and new operations which directly affect the underwriting of the risk
•Calculates and bills final policy premium after audit has been reviewed; reconciles results and escalates as appropriate
•Utilizes business knowledge to respond to questions regarding risk classification, class code application, and state rules and regulations
•Works with premium audit supervisor and peer audit team to analyze and conclude final audits
 

What it Takes
•High School Diploma; Associate Degree preferred
•Minimum of 1 year of related work experience 
•Working knowledge of PC software applications
•Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
•Capability to meet and adapt to deadlines and workload fluctuations
•Excellent customer engagement and service skills
•Great judgment and decision-making ability
•Analytical skills to effectively interpret manual rules and audit information
•Basic aptitude for mathematics, accounting, and financial documents beneficial
