The Member Services Manager leads front-end members facing operations including tellers and member service, ensuring a high level of excellence. Responsible for developing and coordinating services that are centered on the core values of Sentry Credit Union (SCU). Overseas and performs services for member requests including account opening, loan origination and closing, service events, and teller transactions. Promotes SCU's brand, products, services, and culture. Grows membership through leadership that ensures overall service to members meets SCU standards
What You'll Do:
As a Member Services Manager you will:
Fosters teamwork and professionalism through supportive leadership and ongoing Associate development. Applies a positive and proactive approach to performance management, including recognizing outstanding contributions and providing constructive feedback
Creates, manages, and oversees events to promote and inform Associates of SCU products, services, and financial education.
Directs SCU’s cash, teller, and member service operations. Accountable for planning, organizing, and directing these areas.
Leads at SCU by developing and implementing plans, policies, systems, processes, and team enrichment to accomplish the vision and improve overall operations and effectiveness.
Collaborate with all areas of SCU operations to ensure a cohesive member and associate experience, while serving as escalation point for member questions, concerns, and issues.
Additionally, you will:
As part of the SCU leadership team researches, develops, recommends, and implements new products, strategies, and provides continued analysis of established policies.
Administers human resource-related activities including timely performance and salary reviews and ensures all subordinates adhere to human resources policies and practices.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and services to ensure SCU is providing members with exceptional services and features.
Provides SCU team with all necessary information for the completion of SCU operations. Training the team to assist with development.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
What it Takes:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of related work experience
Experience in financial services and/or credit union industry preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical and legal language is beneficial
